Notes for Prospective Teachers

Vallabh Vidya Mandir relies on a volunteer teacher pool for success of its Education Program. It appreciates the contributions made by the teachers. In order for our Education Program to succeed we must have qualified and dedicated teachers who are willing to abide by following guidelines:

  1. Willingness to volunteer time and be committed.
  2. Willingness to take your duties seriously.
  3. Willingness to master your subject matter.
  4. Willingness to take training and learn from other comparable successful education programs.
  5. Prepare your class room materials in advance.
  6. You must have inner desire to help our students in many ways.
  7. Willingness to teach on a regular basis except for sickness or emergency.
  8. Willingness to participate in preparing the most productive class curriculum.
  9. Make education a fun experience.
  10. You must be prepared to teach good manners, disciplined behavior and respect for classroom and property at all times.
  11. Your own conduct must be exemplary and conducive to reverence by your students.
  12. You must be willing to be judged by your students and by your peers at the end of each semester.
  13. You must dress in traditional Indian attire.
  14. If you can abide by these guide lines, WE NEED YOU. We believe it will be the most rewarding experience for you.
